Research

The main research lines of REPOL-EID Project are the following:

Develop new cutting edge molecular characterization tools for post-consumer recycled plastic materials and in particular polyolefins (PE and PP).
Design new materials from recycled plastic waste employing additives and innovative processing to improve their compatibility, in order to achieve better mechanical performance for upgraded applications
Understanding and controlling polyolefin blends structuring under processing-relevant conditions, to enable the use of recycled blends in high-end applications.
